SADDLEBROOKE BALL MACHINES – AUTHORIZATION AND USE

There are two (2) ball machines available at the SaddleBrooke Tennis site and one ball machine available at the MountainView Tennis site.  The SaddleBrooke Tennis Club machine at the SaddleBrooke site (so labeled) was purchased by and is for exclusive use of STC members.  Any SaddleBrooke member/homeowner, permanent resident, renter, or guest may use the other ball machine at the SaddleBrooke site and the one located at Mountain View.

Ball Machine Courts

Ball Machines may be used only on Courts 4 and 5 at the SaddleBrooke site and Court 13 at the Mountain View site.

Use must not interfere with any court reservations or competitions as discussed below.

Ball Machine Storage

The ball machines are located in cages near Courts number 4 and 13.  The combinations to the locks can be obtained from the Tennis Coordinator after an orientation on proper use.  Combinations may change periodically to provide a degree of control over unauthorized use of the ball machines.

After use of the machine, all balls, ball mower and the ball hopper must be returned to the cage, the canvas cover put back over the machine and securely locked.

Availability Times

The machines may be used anytime during tennis court hours EXCEPT:

1.     When Organized Play or other STC Official Organized Events are in progress on adjacent courts

2.     When USTA League Play or other sanctioned competitions are in progress on adjacent courts

3.     Other times as determined by the STC board or the Tennis Coordinator
